What is the GTA?
The Glorantha Trading Association is a special insiders' group that began on 27 January 1999. Its
purpose is to help Issaries, Inc. promote and sustain the wide world of Glorantha! The Glorantha
Trading Association is a principal organization offering real support to Issaries, Inc. In return for
its patronage, Issaries' goals towards the GTA are to expand the reach of Glorantha gaming and
understanding, entertain friends, and encourage supporters.
Glorantha and the Glorantha Trading Association are trademarks of Issaries, Inc.
HeroQuest, Hero Wars and Issaries are registered trademarks of Issaries, Inc.

We are sorry about the delay in presenting the winners of the Best of Glorantha 2003 awards.
But now that our mail and web site is back in shape, here they are!
September 28, 2003
We hate to have to do this, but Issaries is forced to enact a new policy regarding GTA copies of books.
Each time Issaries publishes a book, we mail between 50 and 100 copies to GTA members. And each time, several books are returned to us because of invalid addresses. Depending on the book and the country it is going to, the cost of mailing ranges from $3 to $15 US. Although this is an expense that we happily pay, it is a cost that we are not happy to pay twice for the same book.
As such, we are making two changes. First, if your email address is invalid, we will no longer mail a book to you until and unless we can contact you, for fear that the books will join those already lost in the mail or returned to us. (We will always hold a book for you until we hear from you, have no fear of that.) We realize that it has been several years in some cases since someone joined the GTA, and that it is hard to remember to contact us when email or physical addresses change. But it is something we need to ask of you.
Furthermore, if a book is returned to us because of an out of date mailing address, we now ask that the member pay for remailing the book to the current address. We will inform the member of the cost, and they can simply send a check or transfer that amount via Paypal. As soon as we have confirmation, we will send the book again.
Now, since it HAS been so long, we do ask each and every GTA member to contact us and confirm their mailing address, unless you have done so recently. In general, we ask that you contact us and confirm your contact information and mailing address about once a year. And since it has been almost a year since the last newsletter ...
GTA Member Sites
Many GTA members maintain web pages wholly or partially devoted to the world of Glorantha in any of its
several incarnations. We encourage members and observers to go to our
Link List and take a look at these web sites. Get to know
the other members of the Glorantha Tribe!
Restricted Library
The links below take members to the GTA private areas. Observers cannot access these pages, but can
look at the GTA File Index to see what they can gain access to if
they join the GTA (or upgrade their membership).
We ask that members not distribute any of the files here, and that they not give anyone their password.
All files in this section are copyrighted works, whether or not individual pages display a copyright
notice. Many of the files are incomplete or unfinished works. Thank you for your cooperation.
Note: Members may need to enter their username and password more than once as they browse.
A note to AOL users: we have had reports in the past of problems logging in to the private
sites using the AOL browser. This problem does not occur with other major browsers (such as
Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer). We have also had a report of problems with the
Juno browser. Clearing the cache, especially of stored passwords, may be a solution to
the problem.
Heroes also have access to the Deep Sources, a collection of ancient
manuscripts taken from the depths of Greg Stafford's filing cabinet and rendered into electronic format
through the assistance of several volunteers. Many are more than twenty years old, and they provide a
unique insight into the development of Glorantha. They represent some of the oldest source material
about Glorantha, and are, for the most part, previously unpublished. Initiates and Runemasters can read
about Kalikos Icebreaker to get a taste of this rare information
available only to Heroes.
International Members
The GTA has members in many countries. Some of them have prepared unofficial translations of some
of the GTA documents. We believe that these are accurate and complete, but cannot guarantee their
contents, and in the event of any discrepency, the English language versions on these GTA pages
have sole authority. (Note that these translations are of older versions of these pages, and may
no longer be completely accurate; they are provided as a resource only.)
GTA Japan
Masami Kazawa maintains the GTA Japan Shrine.
