International HeroQuest
Thanks to the joint efforts of Issaries, Inc. and local publishers, our products have
been translated into several foreign languages.
We are seeking licensees for other languages. If you are interested in publishing HeroQuest in your
language, please contact us.
Spanish
The spanish license is held by

The spanish edition of HeroQuest will be published this spring. The
web site will be updated shortly, with more information about the release.

Japanese
The japanese license is held by Guild Corporation of Japan, who contracted Atelier Third to produce a japanese edition
of Hero Wars. Following Guild Corporation's sale to ArcLight, the status of the license is uncertain.
The release is available since November 24th, 2001. The book includes the contents of both
Hero Wars (ISS 1101) and Narrator's Book (ISS 1104), the core
Hero Wars rule books. They have
included additional information from several other Hero Wars books, including
Thunder Rebels (ISS 1301), Glorantha: Introduction to the Hero Wars
(ISS 1102),
and Anaxial's Roster (ISS 1103). In addition to a glossary and a comprehensive
index, the book also has individual indeces of the many gods, keywords, magical
abilities, and mundane abilities mentioned in the rules.
French
The french license was held by Multisim. Following Multisim's recent bankruptcy, the status of the license is
uncertain. The Hero Wars books published under the license are still available for sale.

The French edition of Hero Wars is 320 pages and includes the text of both
Hero Wars and Narrator's Book.
Instead of including the episode series "The Rising Dark," however, they have included a brand new
adventure entitled, "Le Chaos ne Dort Jamais" ("Chaos Never Sleeps"). This book includes the artwork
from both of the English books.

The French edition of Glorantha includes the complete text of
Glorantha, Introduction to the Hero Wars. It is 288 pages, and
includes all new artwork.

Both books include stunning covers and interior graphics. In particular, their Rune Titles give both
books a wonderful and unique appearance that enhances product recognition.

L'Arche D'Anaxial includes the complete text of
Anaxial's Roster. It is a 286 page softcover book, and includes
all new artwork. It also includes a brand new adventure, Par le Sang de la Bete ("In the Belly of
the Beast").

Pavis: Hero Wars is a completely new book that provides Hero Wars keywords and rules
for the many peoples of Pavis. It includes cultural, occupational, and magical keywords for the
Oasis People, River People, Praxians, Pavic Humans, Yelmalions, Lunars, and Elder Races of the
city of Pavis, many of which were developed in conjunction with Issaries, Inc. It also includes
four heroquests, statistics for many important local personnages, and three scenarios. One, Le
Passage du Berceau, is based on The Giant's Cradle, originally published for Runequest.
The other two, Dans L'Oeil des Dieux ("In the Eye of the Gods") and Le Renouveau de Pavis ("The
Renewal of Pavis," a scenario utilizing the Lunar Coders, first presented in
Strangers in Prax), are completely new.
Pavis: Hero Wars is a 160 page softcover book, and includes all new artwork.

Pavis: Glorantha is a completely new book that provides background information for
the city and peoples of Pavis. Although much of the information is translated from Pavis
and Big Rubble, the book contains new information, as well as all new artwork.

The French Narrator's Screen has a standard narrator's screen, with a stylized map of Genertela on
one side and various charts and tables from the game on the other. It also contains 32 page booklet
that contains a brand new adventure, L'Eveil des Eaux Dormantes ("The Awakening of the Waters"); a
Hero Wars character sheet; 5 ready-to-play Heroes; and a description of the oases, ruins, and other
important places in Prax.
